Our Story
Growing up in the picturesque town of Trout Creek, Montana, I was surrounded by the beauty of nature, which fostered a deep love for the outdoors. The vast forests, clear rivers, and stunning mountain landscapes were more than just a backdrop to my childhood; they were my playground. My father, a dedicated logger for most of my youth, instilled in me a strong work ethic and respect for the environment. He later expanded his trade to include excavation, teaching me the importance of versatility and hard work.
-
- Connection to Nature: Playing outside was not just a pastime; it was a way of life. Whether it was hiking, fishing, or simply exploring the woods, my childhood experiences shaped my appreciation for the natural world.
-
- Family Influence: My father’s career in logging provided a practical understanding of the land and its resources. His dedication to his craft inspired me to pursue a career that would allow me to honor that legacy while also promoting sustainability.

-
- Research Technician: Working as a research technician enabled me to contribute to important studies that focused on forest health and conservation strategies. This role further fueled my passion for environmental stewardship.

With a strong desire to deepen my knowledge and expertise, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Resource Conservation from The University of Montana School of Forestry & Conservation. This educational journey was instrumental in shaping my vision for the future.
