The story of Security Alarm began over four decades ago when Jim Dice, alongside his late father-in-law, Wayne Stanford, took a leap of faith to start a small alarm company. Though they had no prior knowledge of the security industry, their shared values of hard work, integrity, and faith laid the foundation for a company that would grow into one of Southern Illinois’ leading security providers. What began as a risky venture for Jim and Wayne has blossomed into a thriving family-owned business. Despite the passing of Wayne, Jim continues to dedicate his efforts to the business, now guided by his children Aaron, Josh, Daniel, and Joy. Jim enjoys a more relaxed role today, spending his free time with his wife Cindy, reading, or enjoying his farm, while his children handle the day-to-day operations of the company.
