About Georgia Door & Gate

Founded on the principles of family, service, and community, Georgia Door & Gate has a rich history that reflects the dedication of its owners and employees. In 2021, Marvin Peachey sought a business opportunity that would allow him to engage his family in a meaningful venture. When he learned about Georgia Door & Gate and its potential for positive change, he knew he had found the right fit. After several months of discussions with the former owner, Steve Bear, an agreement was reached, and Marvin’s family officially took over the business in July 2022.

A Legacy of Excellence

Georgia Door & Gate has its roots in Dublin, Georgia, where Steve Bear founded Dublin Overhead Door in 2005. In 2010, the business relocated to Midville, Georgia, and was renamed Georgia Door & Gate, solidifying its commitment to providing top-notch door and gate solutions to the local community. Under Steve’s leadership, the company built a strong reputation for quality service and reliability. Marvin and his family are proud to continue this legacy, focusing on fostering a welcoming environment for both employees and customers.
