About Michael

Michael is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Exterior Gods. Before founding the company, he was a licensed general contractor working near Yellowstone National Park, where he specialized in building custom homes. This experience gave him a deep understanding of construction and a passion for delivering high-quality, personalized service. In 2011, Michael relocated to Oahu to be closer to his family and worked in the corporate office of one of Hawaii’s largest building material suppliers, gaining valuable insight into the supply side of the industry.

Move to Maui

In 2017, Michael and Wai decided to move to Maui, seeking to build a long-term future on the island. They purchased a “fixer-upper” in Happy Valley, where they now live with their daughter, Franklyn. The move to Maui was driven by their desire to establish a lasting presence in the community and to offer their expertise in home improvement services to local residents.
