Founder and President Mark C. Borst laid the foundation for Borst Landscape & Design in Wyckoff, New Jersey, in 1989. Mark started the company on a part-time basis while simultaneously pursuing degrees in Landscape Architecture and Ornamental Horticulture. By the end of 1989, the company transitioned to a full-time operation, allowing Mark to fully dedicate himself to expanding the business.
