John Vajda, a dedicated U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq, always had a keen interest in construction. After his military service, John spent years honing his skills in product design and construction management. Although he often did side projects for friends and family, he never envisioned starting a full-fledged business until fate intervened.Nate Bunty, a serial entrepreneur and creative “idea guy,” had the vision and marketing know-how to start a new business but lacked the technical expertise in construction. When he and John crossed paths, they saw an opportunity to combine their complementary strengths, and together, they founded Exponential Construction.The company’s focus on high-quality fence installations in Lancaster County quickly gained momentum, and this success allowed them to expand their services. They soon rebranded as Lancaster Fence & Deck, broadening their scope to offer a full range of outdoor construction solutions, including custom decks, porches, patios, outdoor kitchens, and complete landscape overhauls.
